Dave Stanton researches news-consumer behaviors and information processing. He also teaches digital journalism production and transmission at the University of Florida.
Dave worked with The Poynter Institute on the EyeTrack07 study. He continues to model and improve measures of news-reading behavior and cognition across print and online news story forms. He hopes to provide content producers with reliable metrics to guide information gathering, production and transmission across platforms in order to optimize newsroom asset allocation.
